Tierra Vegetables Community-Supported Agriculture is Unique
When you subscribe to our CSA program you get a share of freshly-picked, sustainably-farmed, seasonal produce every week (or every other week) for the duration of your subscription.
You become a member of our food and farm community supporting not only our farm family, but the many local business establishments that we in turn support.
You benefit from eating the freshest, locally-grown food while keeping a diverse local farm thriving.
We don't source any of our produce from outside of the farm. We provide you with a CSA share made up of only what is grown in our fields and/or processed in our kitchen using Tierra-grown produce as the main ingredients. We also sell what we grow on-site at the Farm Stand located inside the Big White Barn on Airport Blvd where you have the option of picking up your CSA share.
You always have the opportunity to walk out and see exactly where your food is coming from and talk to one of the farmers about how that food is grown.
Community Supported Agriculture is a way for you to connect directly with your food at the source and with the farmers who grow it.

You will receive a weekly newsletter via email with recipes and serving suggestions. Please let us know if you are not receiving the weekly newsletter.
Can I sign up for every other week?
Yes you can!
What days/time can I pick up my share at the farm?
Pick up days are Tuesdays* or Thursdays. Shares are available to pick up at the farm 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
*Note: Tuesday pick up is not available January through May
Do you deliver?
No but we do have drop-off locations. For pickup at these locations there is an additional $4/week fee.
- Thursday - Benton Street in Santa Rosa near SRJC 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Thursday - Yulupa Ave in Santa Rosa 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
What if I am allergic or don't like a specific vegetable in my CSA share?
When you pick up at the farm you can trade those items for something you do like. Of course we suggest trying everything at least once, and we are always happy to share suggestions for delicious recipe ideas.
What does it cost to join the CSA and how long is the commitment?
You can sign up any time. Pricing is based on a $24 / week share; discounts are given for longer commitments. Pricing is as follows:
- 4 weeks = $96.00
- 13 weeks = $299 ($23/week)
- 26 weeks = $598 ($23/week)
- 51 weeks ($22/week) only available December and January
- Ask about shorter payment period options for members with EBT/SNAP (food stamps)

About Signing Up for our CSA Program
When you sign up online using CSAware, a secure member profile is created for you with your share options, your pick-up location, and your account activity. You can view and edit your account, change your pick-up location, payment info, or password, and place your share on hold during a vacation.
At the Farm Stand we accept CSA payments in the form of cash, check, Visa and MasterCard (check and cash are preferred). Alternatively, you can pay through your CSAware member dashboard. We do not store any of your personal or financial information on our website. Our order site is run through CSAware and your information is stored securely using Authorize.net.
Picking up Your Share
When you pick up at the farm or at a drop-off location please bring a bag or box for your share. If you pick up at a drop-off location, look for the plastic tote with your name on it. Transfer the contents to your own bag, and leave the empty tote with the lid off. Please keep drop-off sites tidy. Please remember to pick up your share, or have a friend or family member do so.

Trading an Item in Your Share
A benefit of farm pick up is the ability to trade items that you do not like for credit at the Farm Stand. For example: If you want to trade potatoes from your share, you would tell the person at the front counter, who would tell you that potatoes accounted for, say, $3 of the total value of your share for that week. You would then have a $3 credit to spend at the Farm Stand. Keep in mind that CSA members are charged at a significantly discounted rate as compared to Farm Stand prices, so trade values may seem low.
Missing Your Pick-up
If you know you are going to miss your pick up you can put your account on hold (please see below). If something last minute comes up and it is not possible to suspend your share in time ask a friend or neighbor to pick it up for you. Shares not picked up by the following day will be automatically donated and you will be charged (call us and let us know if you are coming the following day so we don’t donate before you get here). If you miss your pick up you can feel good that your share didn't go to waste.
Vacation and Suspension Holds
You may put your account on hold by logging into your CSAware account and making changes as late as the day before your regular pickup day. For example, if your scheduled pick up day is Thursday you must log in and make changes by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday. If your pick up day is Tuesday you must log in and make changes by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday. Your account will not be charged while your delivery is on hold.
Changing Your Pick-up Location
If you want to change your pick-up location, please log in to your CSAware account before your order deadline, or ask us to do it for you.
Tierra Vegetables communicates with you via email on a regular basis to inform you of a payment or to remind you of a scheduled pick up. Sometimes we will need to send out alerts about your order or inform you about happenings on our farm. By becoming a member of our CSA, you are agreeing to open and read all email communications as soon as you see them since much of the information is time sensitive.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time, giving us at least 2 days’ notice before your pick up day by calling us at 707-544-6141 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All cancellations with a remaining credit balance will be issued a gift card to spend any time at our Farm Stand store. Please request a return email confirming your cancellation.
We will give you plenty of notice about holiday date changes.
We do not sell, rent or give out our email list, customer list or any personal or financial information to anyone. EVER!
