bottles of hot sauce

Hot Sauce

Endless varieties of hot sauces come and go with the seasonal chiles available and our latest inspiration. We began making these hot sauces in 2008 with a habanero proto-type in our commercial kitchen alongside an inspirational chef who utilized the kitchen at that time. Our hot sauces are now a tradition here at Tierra Vegetables and are always available.

“Since we are in the Wine Country, we love to make unique varietal hot sauces.” Farmer Lee James

chile salts

Chile Salt

Chile salts are made with fresh, HOT chiles and are preserved by their immersion in kosher salt. This is a unique preservation technique of a hot chile rather than dehydrating, bottling or canning.

These chile salts are a perfect way to capture the range of flavors from our very own Jamaican Habanero chile to the exceedingly hot ghost chile.

Chile oil

Chile Oil

Our chile oils are made from chile and olive oil infusions. The 100% extra-virgin, cold-pressed olive oil is sourced from Sciabiaca's located in the California's Central Valley, a family-run business for the past 80 years, producing olive oil in the artisan tradition of Sicily. Here are a few examples of the chile oils we carry:

  • Pulla
  • Chipotle
  • Jamaican Habanero
